About

Nathaniel Hollinda.

Red Seal Journeyman Carpenter. Nathaniel and his wife made the Pigeon Lake area home and opened Hurricane Custom Carpentry to build for their neighbours, from the lake to Wetaskiwin, Rimbey and Thorsby.

Nathaniel and a helper at the table saw in the Hurricane shop

Learned from a master.

Nathaniel learned the trade over many years under Darcy Shanks, building and installing kitchens and rec-room cabinets. He still calls Darcy "a true master." Along the way he has also built with West Country Carpentry.

His own shop.

Hurricane works out of a fully functional shop south of the village, set up and ready to build. Getting the table saw in took cutting a new hole in the wall.
